We love this picture and the message. It does in some small way invalidate the problem of dirty dishes, as sometimes they can be such hard work, getting to the end of the day with small children, or difficult teenagers, or being left alone to clean up after everyone. But it does show that a different perspective can often help us get through hard things.
Yes, dirty dishes are hard. Yes, perhaps other family members should be helping out. Yes, these type of jobs can often be quite thankless. But persevere. God sees you serving others in the hard time (just make sure your whole life isn’t full of such things, and make sure you enjoyed what was on them!)
